Perfectly engineered and reliable Mitsubishi Diesel Engines, integrated with Europe’s best alternators and Mitsubishi’s monitoring systems, offer you the best long-term solution for your vessel’s power needs. Each generator set is assembled in Europe,  adapted to your requirements, fully tested and ready for installation onboard. Its efficient and fail-free operation makes the generator set the perfect choice where durability and top performance are a must.

IMO III compliant marine engines and generator sets

To comply with the IMO Tier III regulations, an average NOx reduction of 75% is needed compared to the IMO Tier II regulations. To meet this reduction, an after-treatment system is needed. Mitsubishi Marine Engines and Generator Sets can now be equipped with a  Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system. An SCR system is a system that reduces NOx emissions from the engine exhaust gases.

The SCR system has been developed and customized to our specific engines and operations. For the development, has been done in closely collaborated with an experienced third party SCR provider. The system was chosen for its compatibility with the Mitsubishi Marine Engine lineup, creating a common system layout, which will ensure ease of installation and maintenance and commonality in parts.  The design and settings have been fully optimized to be cost-effective, comply with the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries standards, as well as meeting the environmental regulations. Offering competitive pricing for the solution and a cost-effective operation. As the lineup is based on the IMO Tier II engines, it is possible to switch off the SCR system outside of the emission control areas to make the operations more economical.
