Daimler Truck Off-Highway Engines Now Sold and Serviced by DEUTZ
DEUTZ AG has officially taken over the global sales and service support for Daimler Truck’s off-highway engines. This includes the renowned mtu Classic and mtu 1000–1500 series engines, widely used in construction, agriculture, and industrial applications.
These engines, based on Mercedes-Benz OM900 and OM460 platforms, range from 5 to 16 liters in displacement and deliver up to 480 kW (640 hp) of power. Known for their reliability and performance, they are commonly found in machines from a large number of OEMs.
What This Means for Customers
- Sales & Distribution: DEUTZ is now the official sales partner for these engine platforms.
- Service & Support: Starting January 1, 2025, all service activities will be handled exclusively by the DEUTZ global service network.
- Spare Parts: Genuine parts and components will be available through DEUTZ-authorized partners.
- Technical Expertise: DEUTZ technicians are fully trained and certified to support Daimler Truck off-highway engines.
