Mercedes-Benz doesn’t only build engines for trucks. Daimler Truck’s off-highway engines power tractors, combines, excavators, wheel loaders, drilling rigs and generator sets, built by many different machine manufacturers.
Since 2025 these engines have been part of DEUTZ. As the DEUTZ partner for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, we handle them the same way as any other DEUTZ engine: new engines, genuine parts, diagnostics and service.
What changed in 2025
For years, Mercedes-Benz off-highway engines were sold and serviced by Rolls-Royce Power Systems under the MTU name, as the MTU 1000–1500 series and MTU Classic. DEUTZ has now taken over sales and service of these engines. Since 1 January 2025, they are serviced only by authorised DEUTZ partners.
For owners, the engine itself stays the same. What changes is who you call. If your machine says Mercedes-Benz or MTU on the engine and it needs parts or service, in the Baltics that’s us.

Service
Our DEUTZ-trained technicians work with DEUTZ diagnostic tools on these engines too. We do routine servicing, fault finding, repairs and warranty work, much of it on site, because a combine or a drilling rig doesn’t come to the workshop.
In Estonia and Latvia there is a 24-hour DEUTZ service line. In Lithuania, service is handled by our team in Klaipėda.
Genuine parts
Parts for Mercedes-Benz off-highway engines now come through the DEUTZ parts network. To get the right part first time, send us the engine number from the type plate. The machine model isn’t enough, because the same machine can be built with different engine versions.
New and replacement engines
We supply new engines to machine builders and to owners who need a replacement. When an engine is worn out, we look at the hours, its condition and how long you plan to keep the machine, then give you the options and prices side by side: repair, overhaul or a new engine.
